  • North Delta ConservancyKids Duck Calling Contest
    • Annual event at the Courtland Pear Fair (Always the last Sunday in July). Free for kids 14 years and under, no experience needed. Participants receive a duck call and can get mentored on how to call ducks.

  • Stone Lakes Outdoor Program
    • NDC had received a grant from 2010-2014 to assist local school to travel to Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge for outdoor fieldtrips.
    • Interested schools in participating in the Stone Lakes outdoor program, contact Amy at stonelakes@fws.gov.

  • Walk on the Wildside Event
    • NDC sets up an educational booth on ducks and our programs at this annual event in May in Freeport.

  • Jim Dixon Memorial Nature Series Presentation
    • NDC was one special workshop presentation of the Jim Dixon Memorial Nature Series at the Walnut Grove Library in 2012. NDC educated mainly youth about duck and how NDC assists in preserving the local duck populations.
